More...yup: you heard right. Its around 85 degrees in la and I am lovin the heck out of it! I don't know what everyone else is experiencing right about now, but I hope you are safe and sound, as the weather has been quite cruel to many, of late. In fact, I really wish a had an extra 10k laying around to send to Haiti. Any of you that have a website resource that is servicing the folks that have suffered from the inclement weather, feel free- and good about yourself- to post them.
Thank you Oakland, for the stupendous reception and turnout at yoshi's . I loved that you parents brought your kiddlets! One of y'all actually reminded me that I had asked for you to bring more of those precious babies, last time, and boy am I glad you remembered! The singing was so on point; we should start a yoshi's-choir-group, and I could like send y'all material to check out before the shows and then I could be like, let's do such and such song, and y'all would be like BAM, and I'd be just like, GASP! And why is it that the farmers market in jack London Square has the most INSANELY sweet peaches and pluots I have ever tasted? This time, I took two bags of them home with me on the airplane. Party for my palette!
This is already our third night at Catalina's and I am super grateful for the turnout. I have been reunited with some early blisslifers as well as ones I've only known by screen name, until now. You are also very enthusiastic singers (could it be all the vitamin d from this west coast sun?) we will deliver four more shows with love, focus and appreciation, even if I am a little bit bedraggled from all this flying and two sets a night for almost six straight days! For all you singers out there, you KNOW what I'm talking about. Thank you for making the discomfort in my throat pale in comparison to the glee I receive from your presence and participation. I hope to see you at the remaining shows, ready to sing your little hearts out and enjoy a rumble-free atmosphere.
