I was at a Segovia concert in Frankfurt Germany between 2/65 and 5/66 at the Jahrhunderthalle. Can anyone give me specifics on the program he played?

Manuel Barrueco plays most of them on '300 Years of Guitar Masterpieces.'

Hey, does anyone know where I can find a bigger selection of Segovia's Villa Lobos etudes? Like a whole collection, not just the two old etude we all get from every CD

I totally agree that Segovia is the greatest guitarist! Love his playing. I have no idea how some people could criticize this master and think that he's just good in his own time. He is like a Rubens or Rembrandt of painting, and Horowitz/Rubinstein of piano.

I love playing his interpretations of Villa-Lobos. He had a style that was suited perfectly for those pieces.
