Anvil Chorus is two funny guys who write sad songs. Brian Whitten and Justin Sanchez have brought you a refreshing blend of progressive rock, all-natural Scotch/German belligerence, and Hispanic/Italian loving. For the two members of Anvil Chorus, their music has been a way of coping with the ways of the world. The music provided a medium for setting right what once went wrong. Ten years of experience has proven that “There is always an Anvil Chorus song which touches someone.” For example, Brian sings, “I want to carve your ice heart with an ice pick and serve it to you in a snow cone.” Everyone can relate to these lyrics; but do not fear, they are only expressions. Anvil Chorus’ new album is titled THE DEATH OF I LOVE YOUs and encompasses a near decade of musical growth and diversification not unlike the evolution documented by Darwin in the Galapagos Islands.
