Sixteen years ago, I moved to L.A. to create a small digital keyboard 'lab' and to be involved in the film industry. In 1999 after the release of my debut CD "Reflections of Green" ( still getting touching reviews at Amazon.com ) then a brief collaboration with Ray Bradbury on a score for "Fahrenheit 451" my nights were spent recording imaginary film 'soundtracks' in the dark. Since I am a visual musician and a former television director, I record senses and translate them into electronic music. Two synthesizers reside at the heart of my digital equipment.
ASTROMANTIQUE came about after some intense sound-design and my love of space themes. I released the track "Orbital Eccentricity" to positive reviews on the April 2000 New Age Voice sampler. As an independent composer and producer, I found that it was a great way to reach over 10,000 fans and radio stations around the world. I received international airplay previously with OLYMPIA on NAV's February 2000 sampler and got e-mails and calls from countries ranging from Australia to Romania. Thanks for viewing my page.
