  easily one of the best musicians to grace this earth. i seriously would kill to have been able to see him alive. it takes a hell of a lot of talent to get me to listen to a piano trio, but im blown away every time.

  Un artista immenso al quale devo davvero molto. Sin da quella sera del lontano 1990, quando ebbi l'occasione di ascoltarlo per la prima volta durante una trasmissione radiofonica. Con grande emozione, concludo con le parole di Francis Paudras, profondo amico ed ammiratore di Bill Evans: "...Ton piano, si présent désormais sous les doigts de tous les pianistes de l'univers est là, bien vivant, pour nous convaincre de ton immortalité, très cher Bill, mon immense ami."

  I play the guitar but love listening to Bill Evans so much. His music gave me a lot of inspiration not only in music but life and emotion :)

  louis armstrongs good.. but i do find his work pretty boring... he was innovative at the time, but nothing compared to the musicians he inspired

  Yeah right...Mr. Bill Perry. Louis Armstrong used to be a great admirer of Count Basie's and Duke Ellington's works. They were his inspiration. If anyone is the "King of Jazz" it should be either Count or Duke.
