Aug 29, 06:12 PMEr, Black Flag was a punk band. They started in 77, best to class them as Hardcore Punk. Who cares anyway, it is just a phukkin label anyway. Discharge were a UK hardcore band, but somebody classifying Discharge as punk is just as legit.
