  Saw you at the Blue Note. You were totally awesome. That was my first Black Stone Cherry concert and I will have to say I would see you over and over.

  A big thank you to the SECC for letting people know that they start time of the gig had been brought forward - if they hadn't have told people, then we might have missed Black Stone Cherry. Guess which bastards didn't tell folks and guess who missed Black Stone Cherry. :( OK, enough bad news. Whitesnake - David Coverdale is a real entertainer. A cracking set with a mix of old favourites (goosebumps on my arms when they did "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"). A bit let down by so... More... A bit let down by some unsympathetic guitar work at times but very enjoyable overall. Def Leppard, however, blew the roof off. Never seen them live before but they were outstanding. Again a mix of old faves and some new stuff. I'd never realised just how much of their material was perfect for singing along to. Needless to say, I'm a wee bit gruff this morning and a wee bit deaf too. Great night - much recommended if you can catch them on the remaining dates. I was looking forward to Black Stone Cherry though. :(
