  He is in prison to the one who asked. He released albums in prison two I think actually. He was up for parole I believe as of February of this year. Not sure what happened since then.

  Burzum is awesome! I just bought the Burzum Anothology today and it kicks ass. I also recently purchased a Burzum t-shirt. Does anyone else have a Burzum shirt?

  I have been a fan of Burzum's music since the mid 1990's. I absolutely love this. I'm not a fan of black metal. I simply love Burzum because of the emotional content. The pain and anger so obviously evident in the voice of his soul crying out to be relieved from this prison of flesh. Some of the most basic and simple, yet some of the most brilliant texturing and layering of melody over melody, the intricacies of laying multiple harmonic movements upon one another and build on top of them... Some of the most basic and simple, yet some of the most brilliant texturing and layering of melody over melody, the intricacies of laying multiple harmonic movements upon one another and build on top of them using vocals and ambience. Burzum is truely a masterpiece. As a musician I must admit that. As an open minded person though, I do not agree with the philosophy of Vikernes. I agree with some things, but not others. Anyway, I wish I could have more music of Burzum but its not upto me.
