Clara grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, in the Rocky Mountains. Two years ago she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and with her outstanding talents completed her debut album ‘From Now On'. The album was released in the UK and Eire on 29th October 2007, along with her debut single ‘Forgetful Me'. Clara's musical gift was obvious from an early age – she was singing before she could speak, and playing the piano by the time she was three. As she grew up, she sang and played piano in church, composing and arranging music to perform during services. After high school, Clara was determined to pursue a career in the music business, and continued to write and perform at every opportunity. Eventually, some friends recommended that she move to Nashville, a center for songwriters of all musical styles. Clara went to visit and knew straight away that this was where she needed to be if she wanted to develop her career seriously. Once based in Nashville, she bought an M-Box and began teaching herself how to record and produce. She taught herself guitar, bass, and how to program drums so that she could create fully-produced demos of her songs. At the same time, she began playing at writers' nights all around the city and volunteering as a musician at a local church. After performing at her church one evening, she was approached by the wife of Grammy Award-winning country music star Billy Dean, who suggested Clara send him a demo. Billy recognized Clara's potential, and was so impressed by her voice and song-writing abilities that he offered to become her manager. With years of experience in the music industry, he was able to give Clara the advice and encouragement she needed to continue writing and producing, as well as introduce her to several influential people who would help guide her career. Clara's album ‘From Now On' and single ‘Forgetful Me' have recently been released internationally to great reviews. She has just completed her first UK radio tour, and enjoyed every minute of it. Tours of the UK and Eire, mainland Europe and Asia are planned for 2008, and Australasia for 2009. Clara has also just signed a record deal with London-based record label, Right Recordings and has been performing live at concerts throughout Nashville.
