* The African Union is currently mediating a dialogue between the opposition and ruling parties in an attempt to form a Government of National Unity in Zimbabwe. An expected outcome is a power sharing agreement between the two parties.
* The European Union and the United States have expanded sanctions targeted at specific individuals and companies profiting from Zimbabwe. Also, several companies have decided to pull operations from Zimbabwe in protest of the situation.

Our Work
Ndakasimba – Last December, we told you about a crisis involving the brutal attack on Elias’ son, and your response ensured Manuel’s progress. A recent email from friends reads - "Manuel is doing so well – he is managing to get more and more movement out of his arm, and even the speech is coming along a bit better – I am sure that there will be full restoration in time."
All Points West
The Dispatch Foundation will have a tent at the All Points West Festival at Liberty Party State Park just outside of New York City this coming Friday-Sunday (August 8th-10th). Please stop by and say hello.
