Newest addition to the Dixie Chicks Family!

The Dixie Chicks are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the family. Martie's daughter, Harper Rosie Maguire, was born this morning in Austin, Texas. She is a perfect 7lb 10 ounces. 20.5 inches long. Martie is doing very well and Gareth and the family are over the moon.

Congratulations Martie. I've read, somewhere or other, on the internet that you are writing some new songs. Yeah! I hope it for the Chicks and not for someone else. I am hoping your next album has a lot of upbeat, hand-clapping, foot-stomping songs. Another instrumental, or two, would be cool too!
