Nov 24, 06:50 AMI was so privileged to see Don McLean perform under a bridge in Chattanooga for Riverbend Festival about 12 years ago. It was an intimate performance/show. My son was just a little boy, but was fascinated by his music and demeanor as he and i were on the front row. My favorite song "But She Loves Me" and is definitely a song fitting for my relationship with my husband. The lyrics are beautiful. It's hard to find, but I love to listen to it on my Greatest Hits Then and Now. Castles in the Air ... More...

Jun 01, 04:18 AMWhen I watch and listen to Don McLean. I don't think he was able to say exactly what was going through his head & what he was really feeling. I think he did just like the song he wrote about when he wrote Vincent Van Gogh. How he really felt comes out in his music. He feels what he's singing and make you feel it too.

Mar 14, 09:35 PMI've seen him in concert... kinda a private concert, and got to meet with him and talk with him.. photographs, autographs...etc. He is really a genuine person & there's a adrenaline rushing twinkle in his eye.... too bad he won't tell his secret of what american pie really is.. =[
