  When I watch and listen to Don McLean. I don't think he was able to say exactly what was going through his head & what he was really feeling. I think he did just like the song he wrote about when he wrote Vincent Van Gogh. How he really felt comes out in his music. He feels what he's singing and make you feel it too.

  I saw him in concert 2 nights ago! he was really good! he's so funny when he chats to the audience in between songs :) and he signed my vinyl of American Pie!

  I've seen him in concert... kinda a private concert, and got to meet with him and talk with him.. photographs, autographs...etc. He is really a genuine person & there's a adrenaline rushing twinkle in his eye.... too bad he won't tell his secret of what american pie really is.. =[

  I saw him at the Royal Albert Hall, London. He's still got it at 62. What a fantastic performance.
