  After a bit of sleuthing here's what I uncovered: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engineers_(band) They have NOT broken up and should have something out in the next few months. YAY!

  Where do you see on MySpace that they have broken up? I don't see anything like that...and I hope it's not true. I really hope they release something and soon!!

  I had a feeling this might be true. It's are real shame if they have broken up, this is undoubtedly one of my favourite bands. I love the ambiance they convey through this indie type genre, if you know what I mean. Melanie I agree I listen to their music over and over. Come on guys get it together, would love some new material!

  I had a mail from the Band on 'My Space' saying that the band had broken up, which is unbelievably sad. We will just have this one glorious album and so little wider recognition

  i've noticed that their site (as of yesterday) has not been updated since 2005! i hope they are still going strong... very excited for something new though that being said i could listen to their stuff again and again.
