Fakesensations is the one-man DIY pop-tronica project of Christian Ward. In the spirit of fellow bric-a-brac beatboys ('n'girls) like the Beta Band, Saint Etienne and Beck, Fakesensations make organic digital pop. Christian started making music as Fakesensations in 2003 (before which he was a music writer), and in 2004 his track 'Selfish Girls Stay Thin' was released on the Wall Of Sound compilation 'We Love You...So Love Us Three'. It was played on Radio 1, XFM and Triple J in Australia. He also released a Christmas song on the label's 2004 Xmas EP 'Yule Love Us', but it was a bit shit so he doesn't talk about it anymore (though Metro said it was "Morrissey-esque"... but what do they know?). 'Isaac and the Secret Chord (Part One)' is the first volume of a psychedelic concept album about time travel, superstrings, Leonard Cohen and lost love. It will available to buy from all major digital download stores from Oct 15th 2007, and is also available to download for free from fakesensations.com (for a limited time only).
