  :) I sang Tenor 2 in Faure's Requiem this past Spring, and I'm trying to learn the Prelude in C# minor (Op. 103-2) and the 11th Nocturne on the piano. Extremely difficult to sight read and to play, very few moments where you can show off how difficult the music you're playing is as well. Beyond worth it!!!! His Piano Trio is the most beautiful thing in the universe!

  went to a concert on sunday evening and to my surprise they played fauré's requiem!! my favorite piece of music in the world - you guys heard it? wow!

  a fucking amazing composer. personal favorites are his cello works, last 4 nocturnes, the piano quartet in c minor, and all of his orchestral music!
