  I recently purchased G. Love's new album and needless to say I was quite impressed. I have always been a huge fan of his ever since his eponymous album was released in 1994, but this album proved to be quite the successor. Superhero Brother is jam packed full of show tunes that any broadway music aficionado would crave. Wait, you don't like showtunes and broadway musicals? If you are like most fans of G. Love and Special Sauce, you are probably not much of a pop music fan, or maybe you... More... I recently purchased G. Love's new album and needless to say I was quite impressed. Superhero Brother is jam packed full of show tunes that any broadway music aficionado would crave. Wait, you don't like showtunes and broadway musicals? If you are like most fans of G. Love and Special Sauce, you are probably not much of a pop music fan, or maybe you are and I have been under a totally different impression of the music style of the band. I fear that the band has become, you guessed it, sellouts. I am very displeased with this album and will refuse to purchase his next one in the following years. What happened to songs like Cold Beverage and Recipe? Have they been replaced by petty attempts of music like Grandmother (which is weird as hell, by the way) and Superhero Brother (keep you liberal hippie agenda to yourself)? The new album is an embarrassment which G. Love and everyone affiliated with the making of this album owes an apology to the fans who have supported him since the beginning. The album sucks just about as bad as The Electric Mile (with the exception of Free at Last).
