3 chords, 2 chords, hell, one chord. How did they do it? This band can never be equaled. I'm watching the DVD right now, and just amazed at what they did for music without even knowing it. It didn't require attitude, it didn't require style, it just required passion. Galaxie 500 lives forever.

"Today" has been one of my favourite CDs for, wow, nearly 20 years, and it still sounds new... it peaks with "Temperature's Rising", the best song on the album.

This is some of the most spare yet dense jangly guitar flutterings and restrained passion lyrical efforts that I have ever heard...kept me dreaming in the womb and lulled in the world...thank you dean and co!
