  My grandpa just passed away tonight at age 86 to the song "I dont need your rocking chair" .........that was by far his favorite quote. He loved him some George Jones!!!

  I've seen george back in ottawa in 1960 with buck owen,back then country was country,george has never change is style,last time i saw him was in yellowknife n.w.t. and thats the way i want to remember the great possum as he is now and was back then,I have all of his abums,and 45 records....George if i never see you again in this lifetime,you'll always be rememberd as the greatest singer who ever live along side Hank Williams,and hope to shake your hand when i meet you at the grand ol'pry in ... More...   I live in Nl and love to see George Jones in person either before I pass on or he do. He is my biggest 'Hero' and I his biggest "Fan'. His songs comes right from the 'heart', and my favorite one is 'Choices'. I love you 'George Jones' you are the best.

  I went to see good ole George in Moncton on Wed. April 16 and although I love him to death I was dissapointed in him. He spent 75% of the show with his back to the audience, facing his band members, talking to them between songs and during songs with his hands. Music was too high, too low, sound was bad, all the excuses were good. George we know you're not at young as you use to be, we know the voice is not as it use to be and we love you the way you are so please sing the best you can, but s... More... Will probably be the last tour in this area wish I could have enjoyed it more, to enjoy, had to close my eyes and only listen and I could have done that at home playing one of his 106 albums.. :(*

  I Saw George last night in Sydney, Nova Scotia, what an awesome show! He was a little under the weather but performed great. His opening act, Jason Byrd, was amazing as well! Well worth the price of admission! I also had a chance to chat with George's wife Nancy, she's a sweet gal. Don't miss a chance to see these guys if they come to your town or city!!!
