Georges Delerue is one of the best film composers ever. He has several Academy Award nominations but won only one Oscar for his score to the 1979 film "A Little Romance". I didn't start to appreciate Georges Delerue until I heard his scores for "A Man for all Seasons" and "Anne of the Thousand Days". Both of those scores are excellent. Later on I appreciated him more when I heard his scores to 1973's "The Day of the Dolphin" and 1991's "Black Robe". The latest one I've heard is his 1985 oscar...
