  While I adore Emmy Rossum I think it is a complete travesty that she was nominated for a Golden Globe for this movie and Gerard Butler wasnt. He did a brilliant job. I fell in love with the movie and even with the Phantom himself. Kudos to you Gerard! So few could have transalated the phantoms aura of dark majesty to the screen.

  although gerry doesn't fit the stereotypical phantom, i thought he was absolutely BRILLIANT--his raw voice brought something totally unique and beautiful to erik's character, and his acting was phenomenal. he is wonderful and talented....he should release an album.

  OMG I L-O-V-E-D you in this, you seriously shouldn't have received the criticism you did and when I told everyone I was going to see '300', I was like, "AND THE MAIN CHARACTER IS THE PHANTOM!!!" :)
