  I know it's unlikely to happen but I have a request for Jason Mraz. I mean, no DUH. I can guess that most fans have a request for Mr A-Z, whether it be signing an autograph, taking a photo with them or even going to the extreme of wanting to have babies with poor Jason BUT ... my request is actually quite small. But it would mean the WORLD to me!!!!!!!!!!!! ... indirectly. Let me explain: I've been going out with my boyfriend, Brian, for almost a year and Jason's music means a lot ... More... I know it's unlikely to happen but I have a request for Jason Mraz. I mean, no DUH. I can guess that most fans have a request for Mr A-Z, whether it be signing an autograph, taking a photo with them or even going to the extreme of wanting to have babies with poor Jason BUT ... my request is actually quite small. But it would mean the WORLD to me!!!!!!!!!!!! ... indirectly. Let me explain: I've been going out with my boyfriend, Brian, for almost a year and Jason's music means a lot to us because we kind of discovered and fell in love with Jason's music, lyrics, well, everything, together. We have his CDs and are ecstatic when we discover Jason Mraz fans amongst our aquaintances and friends! I mean, Brian even sang & played "I'm Yours" at his friend's wedding last year. For Brian's birthday, 16 August, I'm taking him to the Jason Mraz concert in Brisbane, Australia on 14 August 2008. It would be BEYOND awesome (beyond supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!) if Jason would be able to dedicate a song to Brian at the gig. ANY song would be great but if Jason performs "Lucky" with Colbie it wouldn't even be more crazy if he could dedicate THAT song to Brian because it's our song. (corny, I know, but true) It's a small request because all Jason needs to say is: "This song is for Brian. Happy birthday, man" (that was 8 words) or something with Brian's name in it. That's it. Well, Jason needs to REMEMBER to say it to begin with but yeah. It's not too hard, is it? If it is, of course I understand. But still - it could even be good for publicity and for his image if Jason is looking out for his fans, right? Look, I know I'm clutching at straws here but I'm 19, a student, and broke (I even had to borrow money for the tickets) and have little to give to her boyfriend materially soooooooo if this could be arranged it would make BRIAN'S DAY (and therefore, indirectly, mine). I know Jason won't be the first to read this message but even if you think it's completely ludicrous could you forward it to him anyway? Even if you think it's a stupid idea he might not. And even though I've read this ten times over I still can't make it as witty as Jason probably could but I hope it gets the message across. THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING THIS EMAIL, THOUGH! If you can/can't do it I'd like a reply anyway (however short). Thanks a million times over again. Priscilla PS: I did mention that I love Jason's music right? YOU ARE THE KING OF WORDPLAY man.

  Ill be your boom ;) Wise words, "we are all free to be", and we need to remember that on a day to day basis. I am glad that your dad got to experience a type of liberation on this special day. Special not only because of our country but special because as individuals we should recognize that we are fortunate to have the capability to even leave our country..we are free to explore, free to learn, free to love.......so Jason do me a favor and light one of those suckers in your Az(z) this year...
