We are pleased to announce the John Mayer 2008 Summer Tour. Colbie Caillat and Brett Dennen will support the 22 dates ranging from July 2-August 2. You can view complete details at johnmayer.com.
The Local-83 Presale for most shows on the Summer Tour begins this Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 10 AM local time. An AMEX onsale follows on Saturday, April 12. Tickets go onsale to the public on Saturday, April 19.
Exceptions are the 7/23 show in Paso Robles, CA (presale begins on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 10 AM PST and tickets are available to the public on April 25) and the two festival shows (Rothbury on 7/6 and Mile High Music Festival on 7/20, neither of which have a presale period). -

JM will perform at the first-ever ROTHBURY - a four-day, environmentally-sustainable music and camping festival held at Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan. Global warming, deforestation, mass species extinction, and depletion of the oceans' habitats are all addressed.
* Everything's Cool Movie Screening: Everything's Cool is a "toxic comedy" about the most dangerous chasm ever to emerge between scientific understanding and political action – GLOBAL WARMING.
* Big Ideas for A Small Planet: This Sundance Channel television show will be airing on the "Green Channel" in all cabins and common areas.
* StopGlobalWarming.org - Join the Virtual March: This is a movement about change, as individuals, as a country, and as a global community. Mayercraft Carrier along with the help of non-profit Reverb, Another Kind of Green and NativeEnergy and most importantly YOU, the fans, will be working to neutralize the environmental impact of the cruise. The ultimate goal is to neutralize ALL of the carbon dioxide emissions from the cruise and beyond (flights, drives, etc.)
This groundbreaking effort is part of the ongoing collaboration between Sixthman, Reverb and Another Kind of Green—their continuing effort to make everything they do as eco-friendly as possible. Mayercraft Carrier and NativeEnergy will both donate to the carbon offset program, and now we're asking you to join us to help us meet our goal of a totally carbon neutral cruise!
