  I must admit that I am a bit dismayed as well, Leslie. Professor Renbourn has ALWAYS been my favorite guitarist, ever since I first heard "Buffalo" back in 1973. I agree that there is a complete world of music to listen to when you are talking about John... I have a dream that someday all of my signed copies of albums and CD's by Mr. Renbourn will be held in high esteem...perhaps as high as Charlie Christian's or Wes Montgomery's would be today.

  Try a few of his songs OTHER than the "top five" as he has some early music type songs - such as Variations On My Lady Carey's Dompe - which I prefer to the folk ones above.

  No one has posted? You are kidding right? Or is his name spelled differently somewhere else and so he has thousands more fans under a different spelling? Sheesh
