  She has such a pure, crystalline soprano voice with full of colours. She can sing any type of songs without being bland and her voice is so interpretive. That's why Sondheim's lyrics suit her voice beautifully. My favourite album of her is called "Send in the Clowns (Broadway album)". Her celebrity fans include former President Bill Clinton, Joni Mitchell and Barbra Streisand.

  Judy Collins is certainly one of the most versatile singers and performers around - an exceptionally gifted folk artist in her early days, - she went on to sing Folk Rock, French chanson, Brecht/Weill and later was very successful as a singer of Broadway tunes.
