In the summer of 1999, weary of his pencil pushin job, Daniel Glasser left his 9-5 in Nashville, TN. to couple with former college classmate and songwriting partner, Sean, "I got the lead voice" Gerrity, to pursue music as a career and not just a hobby. Doel Martinez, after becoming good friends with Sean Gerrity from singing in Disneys' The Huntchback of Notre Dome show, joined the group by lending his vocal chords and expert triangle playing. In the summer of 2000 an old college buddy, Robert "Tree" Crowell was interested in returning to his roots as a musician after a four year stay in the Marines. He auditioned for the group but didn't make it, so he held them at gun point. The band quickly ordered a hand recount and he was made an official member of the lessthan7 family. They recently finished up a three song studio demo, and have just signed on with producer, Micheal Crain, who has done production work for the backstreet boys and all those other candy pop bands. He was looking for a band with a different sound, and he thinks he's found it in us. Wish us good luck in our next step toward succes!!
