We are just back from Philadelphia where we were recording the next chapter of the Mae story. We are incredibly inspired by how it is taking shape. We wanted to write you and let you know that we are supporting the Rock The Vote campaign to raise participation in the voting process. There are a million reasons why every one of us who is eligible to vote should exercise that right and be a participant in our process. Our system of government DEPENDS on our involvement and we have been given the gift of the power to determine the future of our society. Our founding fathers and mothers structured our government to keep the power in the hands of its citizens. If you are a member of this country then the responsibility to govern it is yours. It is a tremendous responsibility and all too often we throw it away. Being a member of a democratic society is hard work. It means working to be informed about the issues that are defining our present and leading us into our future. It means taking that knowledge and ACTING upon it. Friday, August 1st is "Autograph Night with Mae" at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls, NJ - home of the New Jersey Jackals professional baseball team! Come hang out with us as we watch the Jackals face off against the visiting Ottawa Rapidz. Not only will Dave be throwing out the first pitch, but we will also be playing a special acoustic performance and signing autographs following the game. Game time is 7:05 PM. Check out jackals.com for more info and make your plans to come hang out with us.
