Mercy River is Michael Vesper (Vocals and Acoustic Guitar), Jeff Kay (Guitar and Vocals), Sam Musumeci (Bass and Vocals) and Shane Rozum (Drums), who currently make their homes throughout Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. With their recent performances with Collective Soul, Smashmouth, Goo Goo Dolls, Stoke 9 and Eve 6, just to mention a few, Mercy River is poised to break onto the National Music Scene with their new CD 'Climbing'. 'Climbing' has been receiving rave reviews since it's May release from Radio Program Directors, Promoters, Retailers and the general public alike, achieving substantial radio airplay in the Philadelphia Radio Market and surrounding areas. From the driving intensity of 'Another Day Goes By' to the hypnotic trance of 'Climbing' combined with the cynical sneer of 'Wannabe', this CD delivers. 5 Songs from 'Climbing' were recently chosen by the producers of NFL Films new music/football television show 'Under The Helmet', which airs on Fox Television. 'Climbing' has sold over 6000 copies to date. The band has toured extensively throughout the East Coast, Midwest and South, making stops at the famed SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas.
