We have some really awesome stuff happening this week that we would love to welcome you to.

First, if you live in or near Toronto, we are playing a special private show tonight, September 9, as part of the Toronto International Film Festival. It's an invite only party at The Social (1100 Queen St. West, Toronto). It starts at 9pm. We will perform 2 sets between then and 12am. The Social is pretty small (holds about 300) but we are putting aside some space for our fans, because, well - you rule. If you would like to be a part of this very special evening, please send your full name to lana@equatormusic.ca . A number of you will be randomly selected and we will email you back with the password. If you do not receive an email, you can still pop by tomorrow and hopefully we can slide you in at some point. The party will be full of super VIPs, but none more important than you!!!

Secondly, director Bruce McDonald is shooting a one hour documentary about Metric, for the series "The Rawside Of...". Using stylistic visuals and an unconventional approach, each episode takes an exclusive look and tells a story of one artist or band. The series will premiere on IFC (Canada) on October 28th, with the Metric episode going to air in December.

The producers are looking for Metric fans to say a few words and answer a few questions. If you want to be a part of the action, show up to The Social (1100 Queen St. West, Toronto) on Wednesday September 10th between 1pm and 5pm. Be ready to be on camera with a few brief words.
