    I would love to see Petra do a reunion tour and get back together because the music of Petra absolutely rocks. I just became a Petra fan and realized they sound a little bit like VanHalen and Guns n' Roses

    I have been a Petra fan since 1982 (when I was 12). Through the years their sound has changed, but their impact and message has remained true. They never tried to be secular, they always wanted the ministry to be first. They are, and always will be, the most influential Christian Rock band.

    I saw John Schlitt perform in my very own hometown, Chennai, India. The experience was beyond belief!!

    John Schlitt will be coming to my home town Aizawl to perform on 20 & 21 May. This will be his second performance, the last being in 2006 which i missed. i sure as hell am not gonna miss this one!!! I even added a concert listing on ilike but unfortunately approval is still pending. just so weired! i mean, i think ilike staff have not heard of the band before or something

    I went to their Concert in Seattle for their Farewell Tour a couple years back -- definitely the most amazing and uplifting moments of my life. Its unfortunate that I wont be able to attend another... We'll miss you guys!

    Petra has to be one of the most amazing bands ever. They pretty much made christian rock and even tho I am younger than their average fan (19), I love their music and appreciate what they have done.
