  ALL HAIL!!! I only discovered the group when they made a video clip for "Northern Lights". Several years later, one of the first online progressive rock radio stations played ... well a _lot_ of their songs, and I became a full-blown convert. They had the best female vocalist, incredible arrangements, top drawer playing, magnetic melodies, on and on. They are likely to be my #1 fave rock group for as long as I can imagine! Cheers!

  Annie Haslam's and Michael Dunford's band Renaissance made unforgettable music since the 70's and is still one of the best classic rock bands ever.

  Back in the 70s I once asked my sister to get me a Renaissance album for Christmas. Since I had raved about them and she was unfamiliar with the music, after I unwrapped my present she asked if she could borrow it.... ...in case you haven't guessed yet, I never got it back! Yep, she was an instant fan. :D

  i'm only 17 but i've been listening to renaissance since i was born because my mom listened to them when she was in school... it's amazing how much pleasure they still give me even though i've listened to those songs hundreds of times.
