Formed in early 99' from the better half's of Denvers two best bands of the mid 90's SINKWHOLE has a bevy of both studio and live performance under their belt's. Sinkwhole quickly gained respect by winning Denver's #1 rock station KBPI's Battle of the bands. And the Denver masses recieved quite a treat as SINKWHOLE graced the stage at a sold out Red Rocks Amphitheater opening for Bush,Godsmack, Three doors down and Kittie. The crowd was left absolutely stunned as the last notes of "Another Day" rang through the Colorado air while chants of "Sinkwhole", lingered for what seemed like an eternity. As a result SINKWHOLE sold out on on c.d.'s and t-shirts moments after finishing their set. SINKWHOLE has been chosen to play showcases for Columbia and Flawless records. They were choasen #1 out of 76 unsigned colorado bands, by the staff at KBPI. Sinkwhole packed the Buffalo Rose, a venue known for showcasing national acts. With the help of other Colorado bands they raised more than $5,000 for suicide prevention. In March of 2001 Sinkwhole reached number #1 in garageband.com's metal genre for their song "Another Day". Sinkwhole will be opening two dates(5/23 & 5/24) for PRONG. Three demo c.d.'s as well as a compilation of the three are available and look for their first true full lenght realese in the weeks to come.... Be careful.
