Shallow Man Down began it's Rock Star quest in 2006 with Jake (from Chicago), and the Baca's (all Colorado natives). Tim and Matt Baca hailed from the highly acclaimed Denver band ‘Soul Pilot’. With the addition of Dave (originally from Massachusetts, then Florida) in 2007 the final pieces of the Shallow Man Down puzzle were in place. Since their first show in Mid 2007, Shallow Man Down has been hard at work creating a local buzz, playing shows with National Acts, such as The Dreaming (with former member, Christopher Hall, of Stabbing Westward) and Small Town Sleeper. They have both headlined and supported in numerous venues in the Denver Metro area. With the passion in music that pierces the heart and a positive lyrical message; Their focus is to turn heads and chill the skin of all who hear - This IS Shallow Man Down
