  Another one that only heard of him through The Devil's Rejects' Soundtrack. Utter fantastic musician, running out to buy all of his albums!

  Terry Actually Turned Down Zep for his own Solo Project. Not to split hairs or anything. I recently saw him do a show in SF. I wish there were more Terry.

  he was also asked to join Deep Purple after their first singer but before they hit it big. At the time of those offers he was trapped in a scam of a deal by promoter Mickey Most (he screwed over a lot of British acts in the day) and was being kept from recording anywhere. It wasn't until he went to California, when Graham Nash of The Byrds helped him get out of his deal and be able to record again.
