Sam and Joel have been friends since first grade. Their educational careers took them in quite different directions for college (namely Michigan and Ohio State) but they managed to remain tight and create a little music by taking advantage of their respective high-speed internet connections. Now back in their hometown of Toledo, Ohio, the two still jam and write together, occasionally taking the time to record some tracks. Many of the old cuts have electronic beats but the most recent incarnation of The Car Accidents features drums by Steve. The trio brings a fresh, eclectic approach to alternative indie rock.
