The Generals are straight up rock n roll rockers from Welland/ St. Catharines and have been together for years. The band has been writing and jamming steady and have began playing live alot over the past year. The Generals song line up is fairly fresh and ready to rock.... Working more closely as a team to develop the songs and sounds, we've clicked pretty fast when it comes to getting the songs down as well as our new writing. The Generals in the past year have become the 2006 ( Toronto Indie Week Winners) and have been playing the major clubs in Toronto and the rest of Ontario with major touring acts and building a very good fans base. Members (Guv'nor Charles Horse , Guv'nor Frank Roy, Guv'nor Kevin Patrino, and Guv'nor Damien Smith) have blended years of playing in all walks of bands to make our sound. Charles Horse is the lead/rhythm guitarist and Lead/backing vocals, Frank Roy on bass as well as lead and backing vocals, Kevin Patrino on guitar lead/backing vocals and harmonica, with Damien Smith on the drums. Mostly all our material is based on everyday life experiences and events that have inspired a song or tune with a story to tell.. We 've been working on new material for a while and are still working on tightening our set. The Music for the most part is just dirty rock that rolls along with our attitudes.
