    Cafe Bleu marked a complete change of direction for Weller from the post punk new wave style of The Jam. His growing infatuation with modern jazz is emplified in tracks such as 'Me Ship Came In', 'Blue Cafe' , 'The Paris Match' and 'Dropping Bombs'.

    I heard Long Hot Summer the day my son was born .. he is 23 and I have been a fan ever since. It's not always easy getting Paul Weller material over here butthe are still an awesome band and Paul Weller is still an outstanding musician. I was a mod back in the day ... York Roadrunners 1968 ..     Totally underrated. Probably the best pop group in the world! Some of the last Style Council tracks recorded, before the split, ended up the the first Weller solo album.....'Round & Round' and 'The Strange Museum' were TSC tracks.........Wonderful! RobTheMod.

    I was fan 19 years ago ! Hey Antoine I didn' know you like them too ;-) Paul Weller is a great musician but also Steve White. This guy led me to play pop drums with a soul and jazz mind. My ever changing moods is one of my favourite.
