  When I was in my late teens I thought Adam Ant was the sh*t, so when his tour came to town I went and discovered that INXS was actually much better. But somewhere along the way I had discovered XTC which became my very favorite band of all time for a while. Somehow, lurking silently in the dark corners of the airwaves (on Dr. Demento, college radio, and public radio stations late at night) were the Johns. Before long, the Johns began to overflow onto mainstream radio, spoiling radio forever... More... The overpowering aroma of TMBG could not be contained by one medium and soon they were heard in our cartoons, movies, and TV shows. I realize this may seem like a left-handed compliment, but no... I mean to illustrate that TMBG is something natural, like digestion. An involuntary process evolved and refined over millions of years to have become integral to the human experience. A perfect blending of that which we need and that which we desire. Stimulating new thought processes while thoroughly entertaining the heart and soul. Do not pass up an chance to visit the Johns. You never know if or when you'll have the opportunity again. PS - I couldn't help myself. PPS - I don't recall seeing "Twisting" on the list here.

  My son is absolutely hands down, stick a fork in him, the BIGGEST TMBG fan ever thanks to their great kids CDs. They rock!

  They never play their masterpiece: "SEE THE CONSTELLATION" from the second best rock album of all time....apollo 18.. next to XTC's Oranges & Lemons their second masterpiece is "where your eyes don't go...from lincoln
