Critics have said that Tom Sheehan is to popular music what director Oliver Stone is to film. Tom's evocative songs find their roots in the news, human relationships and the world around us. His writing is emotional and insightful, casting new light on familiar events, people and issues. His latest release, "Confession in the Back Room," is a breakthrough for Tom. Recorded completely remotely in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey, Confession brings together 12 outstanding players and fifteen songs into a smokey, liquor-infused bar band setting. The results are electric, and the project so unique that it was twice featured in Recording Magazine. Along the way, the trade press has heaped critical praise on Sheehan. The radio industry's Gavin, says, "Sheehan's cinematic approach...is what makes it stand out." Totallyadult / Album Network says "Just like the nightly news, Tom Sheehan delivers."
