Born and raised in Rhode Island, Toni Nielson was destined for great things. At the young age of only four, Toni's parents began entering her in local beauty pageants. "I remember being either four or five years old... When I walked out on stage, the host of the pageant asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My response was 'a singer'." Perhaps at that moment it was too soon to interpret that display of aggression as passion and ambition, but from then on, Toni's love for music only intensified. At the mere age of six, the music teacher at Toni's elementary school took a keen interest in her musical talent. "Mr. Buchanan would have me play the keyboard for all the parents at the open houses we'd have, but I thought nothing of it. I was good at it and it seemed to come really naturally for me, but all I really wanted to do was sing." Well it took until the fifth grade and a much-coveted solo in the school chorus before Buchanan realized where her true talents lie. From the fifth grade on through high school, Toni recorded demo tapes for the elementary chorus, and was given just enough experience to add to the fire of a singer's dream. After many performances and an independent record label later, Toni has ventured out on her own to pursue her dreams on her own terms. Having written and recorded at studios such as Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA, Hemberger Studios in NY, and SureFire Studios in MA alongside some of the best producers around, Toni Nielson is on her way to take the music industry by storm. Adding to her list of accomplishments, Toni co-wrote and co-arranged Brooke Hogan's soon-to-be released first single- "The One That Got Away", alongside fellow SureFire artist Leroi. Toni's latest release-"Let Love In" is currently featured on every major Clear Channel website nationwide. Her unique performance has recently been acclaimed at such venues as Gillette Stadium and Canobie Lake Park, and continues to reach fans from the US to the UK. "It may take me a little longer to make it than some because I want to be 'me' when I come out, not a mold of someone that people in the industry want me to be. But I have faith in myself and in my talents, and I know I'm meant to do this. It'll happen when the time's right." It's obvious to see that this is one talent that is going nowhere but the TOP.
