Treehouse is the convergence of three singer/songwriters which began in the Aspen Colorado area back in 1994. Treehouse self-produced three recordings, played about 500 gigs around Colorado and Utah, especially Grand Junction for some reason. We sold about 5,000 CD's to mostly very small, demographics-defying audiences. Treehouse played the HORDE festival in Denver, the High Sierra Festival in California, opened for Sheryl Crow, Barenaked Ladies and many others before these other artists became massive, world-wide icons. Paul Kuhn played in a band in college with Vertical Horizon singer Matt Scannell and once jammed with the late Bobby Sheehan of Blues Traveler. But none of that makes one bit of difference now, right? So Dan Sheridan and Billy Conn still reside in the Aspen area, playing and recording regularly, but not together. Larry Good is composing music for films, performing solo and with Jes Grew. Paul Kuhn is back in Aspen, sits in on violin, vocals, and Cellocaster with rising folk star Dan Bern and has been known to jump up on stage when DJ Logic and the Samples come through town. Drummer Todd Skarda is playing in a band and doing session work in Little Rock, Arkansas. Eliah Levy has moved on to playing the Chapman Stick. Paul Valentine plays his drums with many Roaring Fork Valley bands. So Treehouse is currently on hiatus, but we made these three albums and we spent a sizable chunk of money and worked real hard on them, and we still think our songs sound unique and fresh. So we're sending them with a lot of love out there to you, the listener, hoping you will dig 'em.
