The Up are tearing up the music scene, by self producing and recording their full length CD, and most recently winning a slot (1 of 12 accepted)into the "Shot at the Cabo Wabo" Battle of the Bands competition at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. The three members, Mike Harris, Scott Curtis, and Clark Souter, call L.A. home. They rock the Sunset Strip, hold notorious after parties, and have no problem "appearing" backstage at every concert they go to, then crash parties in the Hollywood Hills. The Up can be seen, treating L.A. like their playground, and livin' it up with the best of them. The Up are interested in working with eager producers and labels. They are always creating new material, and are currently putting the finishing touches on new songs to record. To answer all the questions regarding where The Up recorded their album... drums and bass were recorded at 144 in Tarzana, and the rest was recorded in a spare bedroom studio "The Fugfarm".
