South Queens bred Provoke is becoming the talk of the street and buzzing in the ears of hip-hop heads from the underground all the way across to the commercial side of the game. Even though there was a lack of pressing of his first official release Provoke “NYC” where he jacked 13 hot industry beats and at times out did its original, “NYC” gave him the credibility to get spots on some of the hottest mixtapes on the street including; Tapemasters Inc. Dj King Smij, and Dj Wreck, just to name a few. You’ve might have heard Provoke on street freestyles with features including Gold artist Akinyele, and Big Pun protégé Cuban Link. Provoke’s most recent release “Can You Hear me now?” hosted by Justos rookie of the year DJ L and up and coming mix tape Dj; Dj elbow was a 25 song banger! And had commercial originals such as; “get down” and “ring the alarm” produced by Reemabeets and street credible underground joints like; “my life” and “come back to me” produced by Ac. With the lack of lyrical skill in a lot of the commercial music nowadays, Provoke definitely brings a new edge for making hot diverse street credible underground and commercial music. There is no doubt you’ll be seeing him head-on with the best in the very near future.
