Christine Hagan is a 25 year old S/S living in the NYC area. After graduating the Eastman School of Music in 2001, she served coffee and wrote music for four years. Having moved to NYC in September 2003, she began teaching piano lessons and organizing a band to play her recently finished L.P. Her music is a reflection of the events in her life… it is meant to inspire, evoke emotion, bring joy, bring tears and emanate love. Unlike other S/S pop artists who rarely escape a quiet ambience and predictable sound, this music challenges itself from one song to the next. Christine combines a wealth of musical genres including jazz, soul, electronica, rock, hip hop, drum n bass and R&B resulting in an eclectic musical experience. Accompanied by a group of amazing spirited musicians in the NYC area, her group is truly worth a listen. The live set up consists of guitarist Grey McMurray, bassist Mike Chiavaro, drummer Ted Poor and D.J.I.A. on turntables, beats and synths. Check it out
