Deadbolt Zen
Total fans: 37
Rock band from Texas...do not think Fastball or ZZ Top. Originally called Mondoz, Deadbolt Zen surfaced within the Austin, TX scene in 2001 with furious welcome. Within a few months, the band had created a loyal following and was invited consistently to perform at various clubs and for various functions. The Austin Music Network began spinning a live footage of their song Asinine, and soon after they were asked to perform at SXSW of 2001. Needless to say, the music industry began hearing the buzz. Focusing their energy on aspiring to create songs that appeal to the full spectrum of average radio listeners and thinking prog-rock fans, the group has an expansive discography of songs that highlight both their ability to compose epics and radio ready hits. Currently, they have just finished working with Producer Brian Virtue (Jane's Addiction, 30 Seconds to Mars, Audioslave) on a new two song demo.
