This project actually began as a way for Jovah McLemore to record a solo acoustic album, but days before he went in to Jackpot! Studio in Portland, Oregon, he assembled a band consisting of friends he has been playing with occasionally over the last year, but who had never played as a group. The collaboration resulted in a loose, almost improvisational vibe, which imbues the songs with an infectious energy. Now the band plays shows regularly in Portland, Oregon, promoting their debut album.
