The Reunion is one of today’s premiere instrumental acoustic bands. Formed in 1991 by Todd Janko and Thomas Cacho; The Reunion was a blues band for the next few years. One day things changed, and in 1996, The Reunion released their first self-titled instrumental release called The Reunion. The songs were all acoustic built on 2 guitars with sprinkles of Spanish origins. The Reunion made a name for itself, getting decent reviews and playing in coffee shops. 3 years later, The Reunion went on to make an album (filled with drum tracks) called The Reunion II. As the popularity grew, Thomas decided to pursue other endeavors. Step in John Halpin, one of Todd's best friends, to help put the finishing touches on the 3rd release Closure, in 2002. Closure was marketed throughout the US and International regions, even getting the record at number 24 on the American New Age Voice Charts. The Reunion is making another run with coming up with the next set of songs set for course in 2007. The new album will be called Consequences; inspired from the last three years of musical, spiritual and emotional experiences. This whole concept comes down to giving people want they want; music that isn't water downed, filled with sugar, or just plan fake. You have found us. You have come to the right place!
