SIN, aka SINISTER CHILD, is the alter ego of Crown Heights born Neil Mapp. SIN is the hunger that every emcee that has succeeded left behind. He is the hunger that made them successful. SIN is the stress, pain, and pressure that every aspiring artist has to overcome to become successful. He is the joy and pain of reality. SIN steers away from the “glitters” of the rap game even though he knows this would take him to the top. Coattails are never ridden in his world. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he’s seen the many famous artists that came out of hometown. It is not a question of him being a fan of these, but it is simply that he feels he can, and will do better if he gets the buzz. He keeps it all business, and treats this game as such. He spits what he spits, and feels how he feels. In his book, that is the only definition of keeping it “real”.
