"Love this track from The Decemberists, its as infectious as a virus. Sometimes the organ groove is all you need. Get in your car and drive nowhere and crank this, perhaps do something devious."

"It's not indie rock, it's not Swedish.. It's from 1969 and probably one of the best Baseball fight songs ever written. Wrigley Field, home of my favorite baseball team has a band that walks around the ballpark, banjo, trombone, trumpet, I cry when they come by my seeats. The man who wrote this song, was a violist who jammed with Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey and played with Chico Marx. Johnny Frigo wrote the song and died in the beginning of July, his son was in the 80's metal hair band Enuff Z'Nuff. Come to my blog to hear his fight song. Http://abeefsandwich.typepad.com "

"If you can find a copy of Frank's Oakland Coliseum Concert which was a benefit for the John F Kennedy campaign, you will be amazed at how awesome this guy sounds. Best concert I've heard."
