What do you get with a bunch of guys who grew up with Detroit and Chicago music from the 1960's, 70's, and 80's? Everything from Motown to Rock to Folk to Blues to Jazz and then some. Put it all in a blender and you have the Bob Young Band sound.
BYB is kind of like a baseball or hockey team - depth at each position and interchangeable players. Think of this list as more of a roster than a lineup, in order of how they joined the band:

For most events BYB appears as a five-piece band, though any number and combination is possible depending on the circumstances (quite unlike a baseball or hockey team). It's more a question of the need, the resources, and God's perfect timing than anything.
